Born in Florida and a self-described creative polymath and artist, she dabbles in multiple talented roles, among them actress, model, art director, book publisher, and visual artist. In a skinematic moment of brilliance, Amy concepted, produced, and starred in the black and white short film Promiscuities (2014). Her character Diane consults a psychotherapist about her promiscuity problem, that is no longer responding to meds; he recommends exhausting all of her desires, unleashing a plethora of sexual adventures, some dark, some light. Amy spends most of the twenty-four minutes of film in various states of undress, having carnal relations with a variety of partners, in a variety of positions, in a variety of undress—male and female, younger and older, taller and shorter, brunette and blonde, half-clothed and fully naked, standing and bent over, in sexy see-through lingerie and white-cotton granny panties, it’s all that and more. Scenes are often shot with the therapist analyzing her behaviour as a voice-over, with Diane sometimes chiming in with her emotions; sometimes the seductive scenarios are interspersed with flashbacks, or visions of a rain-slicked road while the therapist drives and ruminates. By the time the movie is over, there isn’t an inch of Amy you haven’t been introduced to, viewed intimately, and come out the other side as more than friends.
